Capital strategy
The overall aim of the Sure Start, Extended Schools and Childcare Group's capital strategy is to support local authorities and local programmes to complete their current capital programmes by April 2006.
A capital strategy has been developed to address the risk that programmes (for example Neighbourhood Nurseries and children's centres) will not be able to reach their targets unless capital programmes are completed.
