Step in to Learning has produced a wide range of free resources to help set up, run and cascade the programme.

The Trainer Materials have been designed for use by qualified trainers to deliver the Step in to Learning programme. The Trainer Materials contain easy to use session plans, PowerPoint presentations, and all the activity sheets and handouts required to deliver the 12 hour programme successfully. The structure and content have been carefully developed to ensure they are relevant and meet the needs of practitioners in early years and childcare settings.

The Trainer Materials are supported by the Delegate Materials, a guide to contextualising the programme, editable word versions of the materials to enable contextualisation and a downloadable certificate of attendance for delegates.

Trainers will also need to access the Professional Development Resources as this holds the CD-ROM with all PowerPoint presentations for their use.

Please note: the term parents and carers is used throughout the materials. Parent is taken to mean 'mother and father' unless otherwise stated.
