Together for Children is working in partnership with the Department for Children, Schools and Families to support local authorities in their delivery of 2500 Sure Start children's centres across England by 2008.

Every Building Matters: A Visual guide to designing children's centres and other early years facilities and spaces. This practical guidance has been produced in partnership with CABE and is aimed at local authorities and partners involved in the delivery of Phase 3 children's centres. The document looks at strategic issues, such as writing a project brief. It also includes visual examples of practical ideas and suggestions covering 'designing a play space' and 'making an entrance' amongst others.
